阿佛列·諾思·懷海德（1861–1947）是英國數學家與哲學家，與伯特蘭·羅素（Bertrand Russell）共同著有《數學原理》（Principia Mathematica），這是數學基礎領域最重要的著作之一。他後來發展出過程哲學，主張現實的本質並非靜態的物體，而是動態的「生成」歷程。他所批判的「錯置具體性的謬誤」——將抽象模型誤認為具體現實——為理解 AI 的局限性提供了一個深刻的思考框架。
