Anthropic CEO: AI Could be a Risk for Humanity

The United Nations’ own excerpt of Dario Amodei’s remote briefing. He named two categories of risk — misuse such as bioweapons, and loss of control — and said AI could be a risk to humanity as a whole, grave enough to belong before the Security Council rather than economic ministries. In the full briefing he reported that some companies have already agreed to embed external evaluators, the first step of his September pacing proposal.
